Creating and Innovating Societies by Fostering Management Ecosystems of People, Capital, and Knowledge

Founded in 1992, GLOBIS celebrated its 30th anniversary on August 1, 2022.

Amidst a society that has rapidly evolved over the past 30 years, GLOBIS continuously challenged itself to realizing its vision of “creating and innovating societies by fostering management ecosystems of people, capital, and knowledge”, building up a business that now includes Japan’s largest business school and venture capital firm, and a wide range of educational services for working professionals.

As we strive to expand our impact from Japan to the rest of the world, we believe that in order to accelerate the realization of our founding vision, GLOBIS needs to keep changing. That’s why we started a brand project to review the state of our brand and announced the first renewal of our corporate logo since our founding.

With heartfelt gratitude to all of our stakeholders, including students and alumni who nurtured GLOBIS together with us, as well as faculty members, customers, and portfolio companies who supported us all these years, we are committed to help even more individuals and organizations realize their potential and fulfill their aspirations.

GLOBIS’s core values are kokorozashi and potential.

The core elements of the GLOBIS brand can be summarized in two words: “kokorozashi” and “potential”.

Kokorozashi – personal missions that unify passion and skill to create positive change in society, lie at the heart of GLOBIS’s business and its community. By believing in potential, GLOBIS commits to fulfilling the aspirations of individuals and organizations. This is how we create and innovate societies.

The corporate logo used since the establishment of GLOBIS
has stood as an iconic symbol in such areas as media, events, and GLOBIS facilities.
Imbued with this legacy, a new logo takes the stage from April 2024.

Continuing the legacy of the original design

The G motif in the new logo abstracts and visualizes kokorozashi within the “GLOBIS Blue Flame” concept.
The new G shape was influenced by GLOBIS’s original G square logo with its distinctive circle and sharp central line running through it, representing kokorozashi.
The diagonal upward line expresses speed and strength of will.

To improve our brand communication, we created an official typeface called “GLOBIS Serif”. It is an original, distinctive font that embodies the GLOBIS corporate personality.

Our corporate color is newly designated as “GLOBIS Blue”. This blue represents a bright, vivid blue flame that lights a fire in the heart – one of our key characteristics.
